It's Not Goodbye, Just See You Later!

It was a warm July morning and Red Snapper season was saying goodbye. Jeff, his son and his friend wanted to go chasing some of these Reef Renegades. It was a beautiful morning with storm clouds about 20 miles east of us. The wind was mild but the current was strong. We spent the better part of the morning catching legal but smaller snapper and other reef fish using traditional technique. Once the current slowed down we were able to try a different technique and boy did it pay off. Within 30 minutes we had boated 6 fish over 28 inches. Not a bad way to finish the season.
