The long day Sunday led to a late start on Monday. We had a strong east wind but didn’t stop the action. We got our live shrimp and were on the water by 6:45. When we got to our first location, the trout bite was on. We landed several 2 lb fish in the first spot and watched a couple big ones slip away within 10 feet of the boat. There is a 4 plus pound trout still swimming around with an Unfair lure on his mouth. We returned to dock for a break the returned for the evening bite. We fished a couple locations and ended up catching about 69 fish in the evening, a combination of white and speckled trout. When all was said and done, the anglers brought home some good groceries.
